my yahoo home page back permanently.... i dont know what i have done but it is on UK MSN.com....i have put the yahoo address in the address bar but it just goes back to MSN when i go on to a web page.

Hi,
I want to make a website that looks good in any screen resolution. For example, yahoo.com looks good in any screen from 15" till 21". They use css and javascript in their page. But do anyone know to do that?

I am looking at purchasing an Apple iBook G3. It is loaded and at a really good price (used of course). I just want to know if familiar applications are easily transferrable between Mac and PC (wor docs, excel, music files from like real player or WMP etc). I know MAC's a great reputation but I want to be sure it will be compatable with my home and office PC.

When I say goes blank I mean the monitor goes black, and there is no sound from anywhere-the tower light is still on and will not go off- I turn off the surge switch and then turn it back on- the tower button goes off-then I can restart. This happens randomly some days 2 times other days it is ok-My puter is a XP about 5 years old-do I need a new tower or could it be the monitor.HELP HELP AND THANK YOU

I think it is because it could be useful for school and everything. We have a really nice desktop though that is only 2 years old so I'm not sure if my mom would go for the laptop thing. But, I think it would be so much more convenient.

what security software(spyware + virus detection and prevention) will work with vista ultimate(build 5600)
i already have trend micro pc-cillin installed as the anti-virus but would like another anti-spyware to go with windows defender
is it possible to use spy-bot on vista as this is a good anti-spyware program and used it with windows xp

I have become aware that certain applications for a computer require the "permission" of the "administrator." The only instruction I could find about becoming a co-administrator was to click on Control Panel, then User Accounts, but there was no prompts or other directions to any information for becoming a co-administrator on my computer. Could someone help me with this?

everytime i log on i get this box its msn content, have do everything to get rid of it but i will not go and when i click on it i get a box that say register, but i do not want to register and i go off that box but the other one is still there have do all i can, do scanes but still no luck its doing my head in, and if anyone can tell me how to reboot my comuptre so everything as gone all files so its starts off like new it would be a big hellp to me, coz am new to all this thank you.

Why cant they make CHKDSK run at shutdown, with an option to "Run CHKDSK" and make log, that way you can see the results of CHKDSK during the next bootup, instead of wasting time during computer startup time?
