The program is Phoneslips. It's not acknowleging that the disk is even in the D:/ drive! I thought maybe it was the disk, so I tried a different disk, and it said the same thing. I even rebooted my computer. Nothing is helping. Can anybody help me? Thank you so much!

I have a Sharp PC-GP1415 laptop my battery dies everytime I pull the mains out as the battery does not keep charge. I have reconditioned it a few times but this does not help at all. I have looked all over the internet to find the battery I need but cant seem to find the right one or the company dont have the battery I need. Hope someone can help me.

I am getting "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" and "undeliverable message" replys to email I did not send. Has someone just pasted my email address in the "from:" field, or is there a very well hiden bug on my computer? I am getting about 10-20 of these "replys" a week. Not a whole lot, but still a pain.

I need to upgrade my MySpace page to a music account so I can add the band music web player. Everytime I try to upgrade my account it askes a number of questions like 'whats your email address'. When I submit the entry it says 'that email is already in use' and won't let me go any further. I only want to upgrade and know its already in use because its the email address I set the account up with. Its only so I can use the band music player to upload our songs and see how many plays its had. Any suggetions?

Besides the standard ratio calculations using 30000:1001 for NTSC is there a good algorythm for converting NTSC frames to time (or pixel mapped to time) that doesn't produce noticable rounding errors? (I'm drawing a time line with video and audio tracks, occasionally the vid track is offset by a frame due to the above approximate).

The laptop has a 3GB hard drive, and 1.8 has been consumed by 11,000 files. The former owner installed Windows XP, however deleted all Microsoft Office programs while leaving several game programs. I was not given any CDs with the laptop. How can I clear all the non essential programs and files off quickly? Should I format the hard drive? If yes, how do I do that without the "key code" for Windows XP that was installed already? Can I use the Windows XP installation CD that came with my DELL desktop? How much of the 3 GB memory should Windows XP use? How much memory will Microsoft Word and Excel require?
