I am getting "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" and "undeliverable message" replys to email I did not send. Has someone just pasted my email address in the "from:" field, or is there a very well hiden bug on my computer? I am getting about 10-20 of these "replys" a week. Not a whole lot, but still a pain.

Im running Norton AV, adaware, and Spybot S&D. All show everything is OK. Most errors are coming from the same domain, @pdfs.com Should I try to contact them to track this down? This has been happening for several months now.

Same problem with my email. Sometimes really unbelievable, I found few returned emails in Bulk folder those I never send from mailbox. Where and how to sort out is still a big question ??? I think we need to check it with service provider. Do the same and ask with your detailed comments.

Run your virus software, adaware and spybot all in safe mode. Delete cookies from internet explorer as well as the hard drive. If your are running Outlook Express - download the latest patches and updates and windows updates. If it continues, contact your ISP and have them check your account for open ports, etc.

Someone has your email address and is spamming with it. It doesn't mean your system is infected. Same thing happened to me a while back. People started emailing me asking me to stop sending them messages. (they were really mad) You might contact your internet provider and see if they can help. Don't open any of the emails. Just delete them. Be sure to scan your own system to be sure your not infected

One very likely explanation is that your computer is infected by a virus and/or has been taken over remotely by a hacker. Are you running an anti-virus program (with updated definitions) and also an anti-spyware program on your computer? If so, scan your computer and see what the results are.

PRobably somebody in your address book got a virus or a worm that grabbed all the e-mail addresses in his or her address book, and used those addresses to send spam. It'll die down. But you should do a virus scan and a spy-ware scan on your computer to be safe.

Next time you see one of these, click in the box preceding the sender to select the message.

Ir it is in your inbox, click SPAM. It will be blocked from your address.

If it is in your bulk folder, click in the box then click "move to inbox." From here you can click and mark SPAM to block.

It is a scam to get into your email account. Send them to your email carrier to report it.
