My disk cleanup was working but now it isn't.Can someone please tell me how to get it working again ?

I agree with above answers but also note that sometime if you have a large disk the cleanup analysis will take a while. If the cleanup dialog just seems to start and "hang". I would just be patient. Start it in the evening just before you go to bed and leave it up overnight.

scan your computer for viruses. try rebooting and then running the disk cleanup. if it still doesn't work, you might have to reformat.
