I'm using the Yahoo Mail Beta, and no, I don't see a "read receipt" option.
If you pay for Yahoo Plus and can do POP3 downloads you can use any email client like Outlook Express, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. to request a read receipt.
I was just looking for the read receipt option recently too so I will be interested if anyone knows of a way to do this.
Good luck!

it does no longer paintings with Yahoo Mail classic or New Yahoo Mail. Mail plus is considerable for pop forwarding to prepare with outlook and distinctive mail progs that have the study receipt decision, regardless of if it costs 19.ninety 9$ a 12 months for US money owed (loose for uk money owed). notice: even on the same time as making use of mail plus or any of the various mail progs, you haven't any longer have been given the verify which you get a study receipt because of the fact a recipient can decide for out of sending such notices. clarification for this: by using denying a study receipt, you're making useful that spammers do no longer know no rely if or no longer they hit a actual mail manage. there's a utility noted as "SpyPig" that could assist you to get study receipts. regardless of if it merely works if the two sender and receiver enable html-mail. because of the fact in html-mail you may incorporate monitoring cookies which notify you on the same time as an digital mail is opened. it is exactly one in each of those utility SPAMMERS use, and subsequently you may by using no ability enable html-mail...

Sorry Man the service is not available in Yahoo.
Yahoo is a large N/W with user base of the third largest country.
It lead to serious N/W Jam.I think they need a lot more server to add the functionality and it is a bit prob: w.r.t security.

I don't think Yahoo has a return receipt feature. If it does however, that would be how you'd do it.
