what security software(spyware + virus detection and prevention) will work with vista ultimate(build 5600)
i already have trend micro pc-cillin installed as the anti-virus but would like another anti-spyware to go with windows defender
is it possible to use spy-bot on vista as this is a good anti-spyware program and used it with windows xp

I strongly recommend that you remove PC-cillin and install Norton Internet Security as your all-in-one protection package from viruses, intrusions, spam, worms, and all that stuff.
I also recommend using McAfee SiteAdvisor to protect your browser from ad-ware and fishing but I'm sure if SiteAdvisor can work on Vista.

I strongly recommend that whatver you go for, DON'T touch Norton with a barge pole unless you want hours of sleepless nights.
