when i try to view someone's web cam it says install activex web cam viewer for yahoo

Example: My cam came with a program but it only makes movies. I use to have a program on another computer a long time ago that took pictures with my cam (cant remember its name). Is there a program i can download for free that will allow me to take pictures with my webcam?

The manual is only 12 pages long with 3 of them being in Spanish. I've read the whole thing. It only says video capture. Nothing about pictures.

I have Windows movie maker, amcap, and EZ media box 2.0. They all came with the cam but none of them take pictures. I dont want to use the print screen button. I want to actually take pictures.

I have some very large PDFs that I need to convert to txt, html, excel or word to get at some data. I've used Acrobat's "Save As" feature but the files are too big (I'm running 1GB of RAM and a P4). I've also tried Adobe's online tool but again, the files are too large.

Any tips? Thanks!

How do i reset the computer to how it was when i first bought it but choose certain folders to keep and be able to reset it and be able to keep the intenet setting as they are. I dont want her to be able to recover any files that have already been deleted either

If you have used your LCD HDTV as a PC monitor, then is the picture as crisp as a real monitor in the same resolution? I am planning to buy a HDTV and use it as a PC monitor, and most of the time, I work with Borland Delphi which has small fonts. Should I buy a LCD TV or go for a real monitor instead? I have AOL IM 4.7 for Mac OS 9. It's the newest version that will work on my computer.

AOL IM used to work, but since I got a new modem it will not. I have Verizon DSL and tech support refuses to help me with an AOL IM problem.

In the preferences, there is no option for automatically configuring the proxy. I'm not sure what to type for the port, host, name, password, and protocol. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. I always come back to read the answers, so I appreciate any and all responses. :)

I have a few long videos that i would like to upload onto either YouTube or Myspace.
the only way i know how to edit videos is by dropping each clip onto the storyboard-which is taking forever!
AND when i go to save my clip, it is taking about 30 min. to save the new clip.
Does anyone know of an easier/faster way to take my long movie and turn it into 2 or 3- 10min clips?
-preferably by using WMM
