first off it is pedofiles.
second, if they did not have 14-17 year old girls flaunting there hot bodies around and teasing men with their provactive pictures, all over the world, myspace would not be a haven for the scum that you mentioned.

No, the media has blown the purpose of Myspace out of proportion, just like they did with internet chat rooms, Collegeclub.com, and also with Yahoo! Messenger. MySpace.com is a website set up so everyone can meet everyone else, no different from Chat Rooms, Yahoo! Profiles, and any other website dedicated to it. Its just that MySpace is the new big thing so the media is chosing that to use as the ultimate source for criminals.
A criminal, pedofile, rapist can find out the same information from a Yahoo profile or chat room, or any other website like MySpace the exact same way.
Its all about what you put on your page, more importantly who you talk to and what information you give out. Of course common sense would be if you don't know them, don't mess with them. And if you are trying to meet new people online, keep it online. And if you are under 18, why meet people online anyway. Its more fun and exciting to do it in person.

well any site can be for predators, pedophiles or rapists, thats just the way it is, they have just as much access to computers as the rest of us.

First, they might desire to be locked in a room with the youngster's mothers and fathers for variety of two hours....which could preserve maximum of them...Then after, they might desire to be neutered and locked away for the remainder of their lives or placed on death row. they're not greater advantageous than murderers, for they destroy people's lives in many circumstances.
