I clicked on something and my search bar disappeared. How would i get it back on again?

If I have AIM on, and decide to close my laptop or leave it on for awhile so it logs me off, every other program is left untouched, except for AIM. Is there any way to make this not happen? It does it to my friends' computers too.

okay i have a sony vaio and i rebooted my computer back to the way it was when i bought it (losing everything).... i dont have a recovery disk, but the sony vaio support line told me how to do it. they arent open at the moment and i cant remember how to do it! i remember starting my computer and pressing F1 or F2 i cant remember and after that i have NO CLUE what to do next! I dont mind losing all of my information, there's nothing much on my computer that really needs to be saved.... can anyone help?

i use mozilla firefox and i'm missing a windows media pakayer plugin. i got to where to get it and its instructions are really had to understand for someone with no computer knowledge. does anyone know how i can get the plugin on my computer.

I did once had the plugin but some it just went missing one day please tell me how to get it back

your (isp)server is SHARING your network for free
this is what many have found out about (isp)servers your pc is slow cos of your(isp)server ? is your pc still slow & your internet you have done a full system scan
with your anit virus /anti spyware you even defragmenter your hard drive
done a scan disk but your pc is still slow and your internet is not as good you even format the hard drive and your internet is still slow
your pc is not running fast as it was ?

you do make sure you call your (isp) or this will happen

then you need to check your router it dont mater what router you have
people in the vicinity is on your network


you call your (isp)
GET THIS SET TO DISABLED

(GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING )
it dont matter what router you have you need to get
(GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING ) set to disable

is your router safe?
you need to call your (isp) server
they have to get you in to your router home page
then from there ..copy & paste the router home page
into a notepad then save that to a back up cd

now from there they have to take you to the part
where (GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING ) is
then you click on ( GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING) icon
then at the top of the page on the right your see
configure.. you click on configure
then you .. UN-TICK .. the box ( GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING)
that is ticked there ...
then you click look down the page your see

if you have a wireless router
and then ask them where you set up a wpa-security key dont use a 128bit wep key ask to use a wpa- security that is your router security key and you pick the wpa-security key not your (isp)server . just ask them where you set one up they will say use a wep-key ..ignore them you say your going to use a wpa.key and want to know how to set one up and remember you pick the wpa-key not your (isp)server or they will use your network

now you close off the page
and clean out your internet address bar

Norton utilities 2006 on windows XP. File system is FAT32. Regarding "Speed Disk".

In the past, perhaps far past, speed disk was able to move folders to the beginning. How do I do this now? The help mentions a "folders tab". It even says that you can move folders, and sub-folders. There is nothing there. What do I have to type in? I can move .dll and .exe files by typing \**\*.exe and so on. Please tell me how to do the folders. I'm desperate.

It is the second time It will be instaled. In the US it worked perfectly , but now I moved to Brazil and I cant install it.I am going exactly through all the steps as in the manual.When I am configuring it through the internet(in the final steps) suddenly the test light in the router turns on ,Internet turns off and I lose all the configuration.

I have a Dell computer, I bought a Kensington mouse for it and installed the program that came with it called MouseWorks. I ended up not being satisifed with the mouse so I uninstalled the MouseWorks and unhooked the Kensington mouse and hooked up my Dell mouse again, but when I tried to use the Dell mouse it would not work and I eventually figured out that the only way NOW that the Dell mouse will work is only if I have the MouseWorks installed on my computer. But that causes my computer to act up, which is why I wanted to get rid of it. I have tried everything I can think of and I really could use some help.

Not much of a gamer, so don't mind the one drawback of having a mac: the game selection. But now that there is bootcamp for mac, I can install windows on it and play windows games right?? I really want to play age of empires III, I used to be addicted when I was a kid and wanna test it out. Will games run smoothly with bootcamp?

I have tried to go to tools-internet options-change homepage. It keeps going back to martifinder.com. It really annoys me that i can't set my homepage to yahoo and everytime i log on its on martifinder.
