It is the second time It will be instaled. In the US it worked perfectly , but now I moved to Brazil and I cant install it.I am going exactly through all the steps as in the manual.When I am configuring it through the internet(in the final steps) suddenly the test light in the router turns on ,Internet turns off and I lose all the configuration.

Are you able to connect to the router at its default address of 192.168.1.1 ? If not then use the reset button on the back next to the antenna, to reset to fdactory defaults then try setting up again.
Otherwise:
• Your ISP may require a login program.
Ask your ISP whether they require PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) or some other type of login.
• If your ISP requires a login, you may have incorrectly set the login name and password.[IT WILL BE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU USED IN THE USA!]
• Your ISP may check for your PC's host name.
Assign the PC Host Name of your ISP account as the Account Name in the Basic Settings
menu.
• Your ISP maybe only allow one Ethernet MAC address to connect to Internet, and may check for
your PC’s MAC address. In this case:
Inform your ISP that you have bought a new network device, and ask them to use the router’s
MAC address.

Can you go on internet and download the installation program from the netgear site ?
If yes, that should solve your problem right there.

I think you can change the region up to four or five times. Try going to another computer to download drivers, and put them on to a Data CD or floppy, then install to your PC.

check the IP address that Internet service provider had issued u and make default gateway between your computer and router
