Can I play windows games well on a macbook pro with bootcamp?

Not much of a gamer, so don't mind the one drawback of having a mac: the game selection. But now that there is bootcamp for mac, I can install windows on it and play windows games right?? I really want to play age of empires III, I used to be addicted when I was a kid and wanna test it out. Will games run smoothly with bootcamp?

The mac version of Age of Empires III hasn't come out yet!! hopefully it will come out soon though.

why cant you get the mac version of aoe?
