I moving and I'm getting a new laptop, but I have like 1000 songs on the computer in my parents' house. They won't do me any good there. So how do I move my library from one to the other?

the easiest way would be to burn them onto CD's. You can fit about 200 per CD. If you're running the same operating system on both units, you create a network using the network wizard feature. Just connect your laptop to the desktop via ethernet cable and save the files to your laptop drive.

I use a network. It is not required that both run the same OS, but the older one needs to be at least Windows 2000. That is the fastest way. You can use CDs or a jump drive but it will take awhile.
