I'm having problems running an *.exe that was built with Fox Pro. I'm using Windows XP (home edition). The program runs fine when using the run button from inside Fox Pro; however, after building the exe, when double clicking the helloWorld.exe icon, a window opens and closes and nothing happens. I'm having the same problem when using Fox Pro 9. Reinstalling didn't work. Any help appreciated.

I recently have been having some computer issues where it locks up from time to time. The other day while looking at a web page my computer shut off and restarted. When it loaded my Icons, some were missing, my walpaper was gone and when I went to IE it loaded fine but my favorites were missing and so were my documents. I did a restore to the previous day with no luck. We have tried everything but still cannot get my favorites or my documents back. I have windows XP. I would appreciate any help in finding these as I have important info on both.

it just seems that whenever i command my computer to do something it will stop doing it's job and nothing else it won't shutdown unexpectedly or anything like that it will just stop following orders how do i get it to stop
(without buying anything expensive) i have a hewlett-packard pavillion 6330 that originally ran on windows 98 and was updated to windows xp thats it.

I was contacted by a man and we had been chatting for some time and i was sick amd he asked if he could send me some chocolates as a get well thing and shortly there after he asked me to recieve pakages for him and he would arrange to have them picked up, and i initially said why dont you have them sent directly he said the postal service there wouldnt allow for that, I was totally unaware that this could be a scam I am so not like that so I told him i didnt know he sent 4 flat screen 19" touch screens to my adress and had jumbled my name up and i have them not opend and reported it to Dell< they are picking them up but they said that they couldn't do anything to them I told them I know its a scam and want themcharged they say they cant so what do I do?? Who do you contact to report such a thing?/ I get hit with these propositions at least 5 times a day can anything be done i am not wanting to have problems I have 3 kids who need their mother at home

i want to install a new anti virus but everytime i go the the Add/REmove programs place, then i go to Yahoo! Applications and i click "Change/Ramove" but nothing happens...isnt a program supposed to open?? if it is supposed then it dosnt and everytime i turn off my computer and all the programs are shuting down, a window pops up saying "SBC Yahoo! Applications is not responding" So then i tried deleting all the YOP (yahoo protection) registries because everytime i disabled the antivirus program that comes with yahoo protection, my internet dosnt work. but even though i delete everything that has to do with yahoo protection, my internet still dosnt work. so now i have to stick with this even though i dont want it. and now my internet works because i have the antivirus thing on...any suggestions to uninstall this program?

This mesage pops up after i start the computer:

Now, I have tried each of these and none will work . Does anyone know
what I can do?

When i select an option, it just restarts after a black screen apears.

I force shut it by holding the startup button.

Belkin router networking cd?
I got the router installed and everything ok then when i go try to install the cd for the pc card is running on windows ME the cd wont come pop up. I went to controll panel but it wasnt there either. Wat do i do please help fast. When i went to the control panel all that comes up is audio CD and i dont even have one in.
