internet security means security againts possible online threats, like hackers, viruses and spyware. They steal personal information such as passwords, account numbers, valuable inforamtion or anything they want. Just have your anti virus or firewall hanging and they'l do the job.

Just what it says. Security against hackers who are trying to get your personal information, either to be just a pain or to seriously cause you trouble by stealing your identity. You should have protection in the form of McAfee or Norton. If you have WindowsXP, keep the firewall on.
If you have McAfee or Norton, update regularly. Disable their firewall if the program includes one.
You need one firewall, but two will just fight each other.
