I recently bought a book which teach ppl how to use AutoCAD, and it contains a CD-ROM which has all the exercise in it. But i couldnt open its file.My PC said that it couldnt read the DWG format file....or sth, do i need to download any software to solve this problem? if so, where can i download it?

Your computer doesn't know what a dwg is yet. You really need a copy of AutoCAD installed. They are expensive to buy though. I'm not sure, but you may be able to get a student version of the software for a drastically reduced price (and functionality). If all you want to do is look at the dwg's on the disk, you can download a free file viewer from Autodesk.com.

Yeah you need AutoCAD or a file viewer to open the drawing files. Get True View here:

DWG is an autocad format. So you open it with autocad.
