NOPE & I don't want it either. AOL takes up too much hard drive space & adds files that aren't necessary for it to run. Once you uninstall, those files stay put too. I had their sister service CompuServe2000 & it did the same thing. I had to have a friend of mine who's a computer tech wipe out some areas of my hard drive to get rid of the leftover, useless files. I have 4 email accounts, 3 Yahoo & 1 Gmail & prefer the Yahoo ones. Even though Gmail has bigger storage, it's not easy to block someone you don't want to email you unless you get an email from them first.

Stay away from AOL's free email service. Stick with Yahoo, MSN or hotmail.

I had AOL before it was free. Once they said it was free I called and got my AOL free.

However I did not have to download the AOL because I already had it. The free AOL works exactly like the paid AOL did. So I assume that you just download Version 9 and you sign up for an Id and then it will work.
