This may seem like a dumb question, but I've never used Outlook before. Is it web-based like Yahoo mail? I am looking for an orgainzer/planner/scheduler/contacts manager that I can access from home and at work as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

But now when I look for them I find things called photo scanners. Are they the same thing? And what is a good one without paying an arm and leg for it? I have a Compaq computer and mostly use HP stuff in the past. I would appreciate any help, thank you.

Does somebody knows what to do then you bought something on ebay, sent the payment by money order, the seller already recieved it and got his money, and I haven't recieved the item tough it's been enough time for it to arrive?

Also, ebay can't do anything, I need to resolve it by myself.

I am very scared about the fact that the dell batteries in some laptop may explod. I have a dell laptop but my batteries number is not in the recall list but I am scared to death and want to know if I can use that strong fear to ask a refund for my computer to the dell corporation. please advice with legal exemple. thanks

im making a GIF for forums and what not. i want to add a voice file (.wav or .mp3) to it but don't know how. i'm using Ulead GIF Animator (cool, but kind of a joke) so i dont think it has audio capabilities. HELP!

My mother recieved an email saying that a purchase had been made. My mother doesn't even know what Pay Pal is. The Shipping information was for Bill Chang and the purchase was for a new Nokia cellphone. The total of this bill was almost $500.00. I would like linux operating system (bootable and installable) that is a very small download. I have direcway but the download keeps stopping prematurely. I would just like to see what its all about and decide if i want to buy the cd's. Everyone says peanut is small, one website even said only 60mb. I have a Maxtor One Touch 300GB External USB hard drive. My friends computer won't boot and the Windows boot floppy's don't work. I was wondering if there are any other programs that I can install to a boot floppy that I can use to back up his hard drive onto my USB hard drive. I searched and searched and cannot find anything that even relates to this topic. Please help! He is using Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2 and we want to reformat it and reinstall everything afterward but we can't. (since it won't boot of course!)
