but for the last few days my son who has his wireless pc downstairs cannot connect to the internet. I have run a diagnostic check on mine and all the tests including wireless passes.Any ideas please?

Im using Windows XP and it has Java HotSpot Virtual Machine log files being automatically stored onto my desktop. Im not interested in these error messages only in either disabling these log files from being created or at the very least moving them to a more appropriate directory path.

Can someone please tell me how to make such an adjustment under Windows XP.

I'm 24, so I spent most of my childhood without internet access. I remember when it got really popular and dial-up was just so awesome. It occured to me today that I can not for the life of me remember what I did with my down time before I had the internet. I mean, I played some games, hung out with friends, but that's all I can remember. Weird! The internet has taken over my life, it seems. What did YOU do before the internet?

if you see this website ( http://www.ask.com ) at the right side of it there is table in which if the mouse goes on any row of this table the background of this row changes color. how to make this effect?

I know how to use this effect for the text (where on mouse over, the color of that text changes)
I know this effect for image (where on mouse over, the image changes)

But i dont know how to change the color of background of a row of a table!

I typed a document in arial font (MS Word) but ended up saving it in symbol font for privacy. When I returned to the document I attempted to change the font to arial but now I only get different kinds of shapes and symbols. Can I get it back to arial font? How?

look microsoft tells me to get service pack 2 anytime i go on their site when i go to windows update they tell me your current security setting prohibit active x from running so the page will not be didplayed properly. Then they tell me about this infomation bar a yellow bar but when i check service pack1 don't have the yellow bar what should i do.

... use Microsoft FrontPage to design a web page that asks its visitor to pass a password check first otherwise he/she cannot enter into the next page?

I do NOT want to get into HTML language and tags. I heard that it can all be done from inside FrontPage without any HTML stuff. Right?
