Becuz by the time your computer crashed for the 1,000th time you wanted to throw it out the Window.
That was in the early stages of this OS though. Now, with all of the improvements, it could take at least a whole YEAR before you get frustrated enough to do that.....

because everything opens up in small 'windows' as opposed to just typing in command in a DOS enviroment
