I like the internet and I like being able to download music and e-mail friends and read about new cars and things like that but I also think it can be negative on me.

I go to church and I try to be good and sometimes I find spam things in my email box and I'll click on them or I'll see advertisements to bad sites and I click on them kind of out of curiousity (sp?) and do things on the net that I shouldn't and what would be the best way to stop it. Is there any way I could change a setting on my computer so I wouldn't get bad website ads featuring naked women and gambling websites and things like that ??

I'm new to CSS and im learning from a demo of a CSS tabbed menu. (This is the demo: http://odyniec.net/articles/css-based-tabbed-menu/). My question is that under ul.tabs li a { }, the display property was set to "block". I'm not sure why it's set to block. i have set the display property to "inline" to see what would happen but nothing really changed. On another attempt, i didnt set the display property and still nothing changed.

So what is the purpose of having set the display property to block?

Also, this tabbed menu is suppose to be a horizontal menu yet block was used. Isn't the purpose of block suppose to seperate elements by break lines thus possibly making the menu not horizontal but maybe even vertical???

i wanna start writin a story, but i dont wanna write it in just like, a note book or journal or sumthin like that, cuz ppl can read it. and ive got a thing about that. i hate ppl i know readin shitt im not done w/. so, i would put it on word on my laptop, and put it in a zipped file or guve it a password or sumthin like that, but my laptop i think is broke, so i have to use my bro's comp. && i dont have my own screen, so i cant save it on here.
so i was thinking maybe there is a website i could do this on...idc if ppl can read what i write on there...i just want somewhere i can type it up w/o ppl i actually know reading it & knowing its mine.

idk if it makes since what im trying to ask for, but if not, pls just tell me in your answer & ill describe it a bit better.
