I buy loads of stuff on the Internet, mainly computer games, hardware, books, films, foreign magazines and gadgets. Mainly I buy from Amazon, Play.com, Ebay and a few specialist retailers.
Personally I recommend using a go-between payment service such as PayPal whenever possible to protect against credit card fraud, and make shopping easier.

internet shopping is an alternative if you can't get the stuff you've been looking for. i can always get memorabilia from eBay.
be caution though. if you plan to shop on the internet, go with tne website that offers secure payment and buyer protection program. after all, trust is an issue in internet shopping you know..

Yes.. often... have done for years... no different to handing your card across a counter, or swiping it... and I think it's safer than the latter!
Have bought many things, programmes, software, hardware, office items and stationery, books, DVDs, clothes, furniture, a guitar, you name it, I've bought it online... all except grocery, because I like to interact in local shops.
Don't keep lists of sites... they vary... only a few are member sites. And no... that's my business!

Ebay is my number one site for online shopping, but www.play.com sells a lot of stuff VERY cheap, quite often cheaper than ebay. Infact, you even get people selling on ebay, that when you buy from them, you just get a parcel from play and find out you've paid £2 more.

Your question is a bit vague and it depends what you want to buy. Play.com for cd and dvds, Ebay for all sorts of things, savastore.com for electronics and gadgets, misco.co.uk is really good too.
