Looking for a good parental control product for our new iMac.

The Mac OS has built in parental controls in the Accounts portion of System Preferences. However, what it does is you say what sites your child can visit, so your child can request to you a list of sites he/she would like to view, and you can preview each one before adding it. This however, might be frustrating, expecially if searching through google.

Monitor your kids. Web filters do not work well, they block out a lot of legit content and likewise do not block out some things that are bad.

The Internet is a vast resource, don't water it down. Do your duty as a parent and instill these values yourself, not with faulty software.
