The registry is one area on my system where I don't know much. Cleaning programs tell me that there are hoards of errors there, however, and Windows has been acting buggy for some time. Could a clogged-up registry have anything to do with that? I remember someone once told me that Windows is fine until you start installing and uninstalling programs on a consistent basis. I've been doing that, more or less, for a couple years now, which might account for all the errors and random, odd quirks (like icons moving by themselves, windows flipping by themselves, etc).

Sound feasible?

I have a gaming joystick that has a "top hat" that could be configured nicely into a game I play.
Keyboard strokes and macros can be assigned to all of the buttons including the top hat. IE: move forward is the letter "E"... shooting a weapon can be configured to fire a burst of five with a macro, and then assigning it to a key.

I need to know if there are any keyboard strokes (shift/alt/^) as an example which would emulate the movement of a mouse. No sideways movement is needed (but would be neat)... but I definitely want to find forward backward left right.

Thanks!!!

PS: Keyboard mouse wouldn't work because the mouse must function during the game for other movements and activities. This a PC.

When you insert one of these Hide Last Login codes, does it A) hide the date completely or B) just cause the date to remain the same of the date the code was entered.

What I am asking is -- is there a way to manipulate the date of your login? Or is the only option to keep it or make it disappear?

I have downloaded a bunch of songs onto my laptop. It doesn't have a cd burner. I thought I could just transfer the songs to my desktop and burn them from there. But, I am getting a message that says this computer is not authorized to burn these songs. What do I do?

I am using the following code:
Treeset pq=new TreeSet();
node n=new node(0,0);
pq.add(n);

boolean p=pq.remove(pq.first());

but the above line is not removing the first element..
can anybody help me to find the flaw ????
