I searched [Google, hotbot, webcrawl] the net for I-WORM/VB.GG. Guess what? The Grisoft site is the ONLY one with an answer. Symantec and McAfee dont even know about this virus / spyware. How come? The remove method was also crazy - download a bunch of free software -antispyware, botware etc. Does'nt this sound fishy? AVG says its forum is for Registered Users only, not for free users. No issues. I want to know how come no other antivirus company has posted / detected this virus.

I have already set-up window updates (thru 'automatic updates' in 'control panel' ) to deliver updates automatically on my XP, daily at 1 PM, but its not updating automatically nor I happen to see installing update, when I shut down my computer. (My o/s hasn't got updated since past 1-2 months). Do I need to do some other settings ? I prefer auto updating than manual. Please advice, thanks.

i trashed my old computer but it had a cd burner that i removed and then tried to add to my new computer but then realized that i couldnt use either of my cd drives so i put all the plugs (wich i had to switch around frpm one to another and such) and in the process i now cannot use my old cd drive even though all the plugs are in the same place any ideas on what i need to do?

I re-formatted my pc and it took over 24hrs to reload xp home edtion back on I know this is not right so wondered if I should get a new hard drive :)

I had windows 98 SE on this computer when I bought it....I later installed Windows XP and have used it ever since. I HATE XP....MOstly because of the space it takes on my 8 gig hard drive. It also doesnt operate the fastest on my PC. I have been trying to reinstall win 98 on the computer again since win XP is on here it won't let me! I know there is a way to do this---HELP! Since I've installed AOL S/S Center I have noticed the mcafee virus update notification pop up constantly. I have contacted AOL tech support but their methods were unable to resolve the problem. Does anyone know how to stop the pop ups?

With today's technology there's got to be TONS of ways to make money online besides the normal ones.
