I have a asp supported site hosting. I have a asp form page that collects info and inserts into a ms-access databases. I made a system dsn for the connection. It works perfectly on my pc(localhost) but when i upload on the net it shows http 500 internal error. Why??
any solution???

In my usual login systems with PHP, I use the $_SESSION variable.

When the user logs in, I give $_SESSION['user'] a value.

On a page, his login info is displayed only if $_SESSION['user'] has a value.

Is this secure enough? I see other login systems with extensive use of cookies with PHP to prevent "session stealing". What does that mean, how is it possible?

I remember selecting the MS WORD option from a list of programs to open one particular pdf file and the problem has stuck ever since. How can I change the use of MS Word as the default for opening pdf files? What is the program that should have been selected? Thanks in advance.

I have a BCM V.92 56 modem and im gonna try to take it out of my Dell and put it in a compaq win. 95 computer and i was wondering if i have to get the modem driver for the modem its self or for the win. 95 or can u even get a modem driver for that modem that will support win 95

Hello people, everytime I connect to the internet it is connected but after a few minute smy PC Hang over and over so I press restart again then when I check to the modem option in the control panel it says: "Not present" over and over then I restart again to make a connection but same problem encountered when I am connected it hang again. Whats thew problem? the modem or the wire? I dont know. Pls help me. thnx in advance.

Are they very expensive? Are they easiy to fit yourself? I am not a 'techie', and would be worried about taking even the cover off the PC. ALso, I am assuming that this is an overheating problem, but I don't know. Is there anything on the PC that can tell me this?
