I have already set-up window updates (thru 'automatic updates' in 'control panel' ) to deliver updates automatically on my XP, daily at 1 PM, but its not updating automatically nor I happen to see installing update, when I shut down my computer. (My o/s hasn't got updated since past 1-2 months). Do I need to do some other settings ? I prefer auto updating than manual. Please advice, thanks.

It could be disabled....

To enable it...
Right click on My Computer - Properties - then select Automatic Updates and then select the green sheild which says Auctomatic... Some one maybe disabled it over there..

bye..

Vote me as best...if this helped u...

Check that your virus protection software isn't blocking the automatic updates.
