I am not computer savy. Some how the toolbar has gotten larger and viewing screen has gotten smaller than the moniter screen. I have tried to reset, but am affraid I will make it worse.

people keep sending me mail, even when i remove them they still know my adress so they keep sending me mail. its not advertising, its people who send me weird things in different languages. so is there anyway to stop them from sending me mail? thanks :)

im using a sony vaio computer w/ windows xp home that has SP1. before i can open web pages, but now that i installed SP 2 i cant and i always get "can not display page" errors. windows says my connection is fine, and so does sbc dsl's self support tool. i noticed that i'm barely recieving any packets though. when i try pinging websites from my computer it doesnt work, but whein i ping from my dsl modem it works. what should i do?
