That is the Windows Firewall thing. Go into the Control panel, and configure your internet settings and allowable programs, and you should be all set.

Good luck

One ensure that the firewall that comes with SP2 is configured correctly. If not it will allow you to ping and rx, but will accept incoming pings and not reply.
The browser side of things has been tightened as well. You may well have to change the default settings in the browser window. You may have to take it down to medium or low for the sites you are visiting, or you could add the sites into the new browser. Check you internet options under Tools in your browser. Then change the level. If you can access your sites, then i would recommend putting the level back and adding the sites to your favourites.

hey, this is not the problem with your computer(Hardware) and don't be worry about that. Just try to reinstall you internet browser. Or install Mozilla firefox or Netscape or Opera. Your problem will be solved. It's also not da problem of Win Service Pack 2.
i have used SP1 & 2. No problem with it.
Just do as i told. Your problem will be solved.
Good Luck.

undesirable information :-s each and each significant producer has their own branded version of homestead windows. even if, you are able to interchange their discs... so for instance, HP discs works with different HP products, and Dell discs paintings with different Dell pcs and laptops. even if, you won't be able to take an Acer disc and apply it to a Dell or a computer you outfitted. in case you are able to, call up Fujitsu and they should be able to provide you fix Discs in 2-3 days for below $30 USD. better of success, Scott
