Last night I turned off my computer and when i turned it on today my desktop background was black....when I go to Properties>Desktop the background, Browse, and position options are grayed out. I can only change the color. Even when I set a local image as my desktop background it does not work...Please any idea what is happening?

i want to upload fotos to hi5 website .in detail in the foto gallery of my profile.im afraid whether anybody who sees my photo would try to misuse it in a wrong way.can they edit my foto?cut,copy and paste to other fotos???is it insecure to post such photos to a website???my head is breaking in this issue please answer me at the earliest possible...........

I have a computer tower I need to load information on with no monitor for it. Is there a way to plug the tower into my laptop and us my laptop as the monitor to load information on the tower. The tower needs everything downloaded on it from windows XP to the internet. Can someone tell me how to do this or if it is even possible. Also I don't want to risk all the info on my laptop being put on the tower and then unretrievable.

I know that it is not safe to use, as a password, a word that is in the dictionary. But what if I use a variation of a common word that is in the dictionary?
For instance, I would not use the word "motorway" as a password, but would the word "motarway" be a safe password?
Also, does it make a password a little bit safer, or a lot safer, if I use numbers as well as letters of the alphabet? And if I use numbers, how many should I use? So, would "motarway3891) be safer than "motarway38"?
