How do I post videos on YouTube?

I get an error message saying the file is to big. It's under 10 minutes but I don't know how to compress the file. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you

logitech has some compression software download quick cam from their site and it compresses video for sending email ..so does realplayer and

microsft ..
