PC for sure. Macs only have less viruses because as hackers will tell you there's nothing on a Mac worth destroying. ;) The latest OS for Mac was supposed to be hack proof but was annihilated in less than a day. Sure, Windows is no better but a PC on Linux cannot be beat. A properly built PC will always beat a Mac, even for music and moviemaking.

Neither is better per se. What decides if it is better is the end user. I personally hate Macs, and I don't like PCs much either. PCs have a bigger variety of hardware and software and are a lot more versatile, Macs tend to be used by designers and people who want looks over substance.
The Amiga was the best computer, but sadly it was run by a company that had no idea what to do with it!

PC as they are easy to maintain, cheeper, upgradable (by me) and run as quickly if not faster than your average mac. Also, I don't work in the multi-media industry and so don't need the apps that come with a mac ......... plus I don't like the monopoly mac has created with itunes - music should be able to be played on ANY player and not just an ipod!
They do look cool (I'd like one for that reason) but some of the smaller laptops I use do look a tad girly!
Also, why buy a mac and then have to buy windows for mac to allow yourself to work in the real world?

Mac?! LOL. Mac is no contest to PC. Mac was great back in the stone age but now PC rules the computer world.

im buying a mac laptop. I did a lot of research to try to find either to get a mac or pc and at the end mac has better deals and it gets much less viruses and it has tons of extras

There is nothing wrong with MAc but IBM PC is more worldwide used . There is more available software written for PC , there is more available devices for use with them and You can get them repaired more easily . They are cheaper.
Overall PC has been the standard and Mac the minority.

pc because we use mac apple laptops in high schoo land the internet always freezes disconnects and doesn't work. they are a piece of junk so your best bet is to get a pc not a mac. lol

PC's are better. Because it is used by more people, there are more softwares that are available and softwares as well as hardwares are easier to find. Unlike Mac, you need to still have to personalize and find softwares that are mac-enabled.
