somebody sent me an e-mail to hotmail.so i want to know the ip address from the sender. is that possible?

1. Log into your Hotmail account.
2. Click on Options in the navigation bar at the top right of the screen.
3. Click on Mail in the listing at the left.
4. Click on Mail Display Settings.
5. Next to "Message Headers," select the box next to "Full" and then click OK.

Of course it is possible. Can you read E-Mail headers?

It would take you about 10 mintues to find anything and everything about IP Addresses, E-Mail and how they work together on google. Thats: http://www.Google.com. Instead of waiting a couple days here for someone to come by and respond correctly to your question.

Dan S....the "to" line DOES NOT show a person's IP address, it only shows their e-mail address. Geez!

Sure, just add them to your address book or send a reply to them and see what's in the "to:" line.
