I mean no disrespect here. But every single day I see some elderly driver do something that is completely unsafe and very likely to cuase an accident under the right conditions.I.E This morning on the way to work I observed a very old lady driving about 35-40 in the left hand lane on the interstate during rush hour. Several people came up behind her going much much faster and either had to slam on their brakes or swerve to avoid her.
And then this afternoon I saw another elderly person turn a corner and the back wheel went into a big hole that was way to obvious to not see. What if that had been a curb with some kid standing there???
With the percentage of our population that is elderly rapidly increasing I think its time to set an age at which you should have to retest. What do you think?

If cars could only go 45 MPH there would be far less accidents and there would be far less deaths from accidents.

Lowering the speedometer would save peoples lives. Would you support it?

Why are we always in such a hurry anyways?

Why are all the signs on the highway green? Is it because the state sign guys all smoke pot and think it's a pretty color? Why not something that's bright red, or yellow, or pink, Oh bright hot pink signs would be awesome, you could never miss them.

if i recieved a speeding ticket 90 days ago and had 90 to return my papers saying i completed my defensive driving class but have not done so because of a 3-4 week delay in recieving papers to send to my court, what do i do. i mean i will miss the due date and a warrant will be issued for my arrest, but i think it is ridiculas, what do i do. should i call and explain my situation to the judge, i am a student and work every weekend. if they refuse to accept my defensive driving course stuff, what will happen to me, will they really come and arrest me over the thing, or can i just pay a late fee or something along the lines of that

Well i drop off my daughter to school every morning. I have to drive down the road to a stop sign where kids are waiting for their bus, (they r middle school kids)..anyway I have to make a complete stop and check both sides to check for cars before I make my run for it. Well today as I was getting back home, they were still there, I have to go around them cause they are on the corner. It may seem like I'm going fast as I'm entering but I'm not. The girl yelled out "slow down"..If I was going so damn fast, how was I able to catch that, with my radio on? I was able to make a complete stop cause I heard it so clearly, I looked back and everyone had their head down like nothing happened. I was not going 15 or 20 mph either, i'm not gonna lie, i don't have blinking lights around me telling me to do so, I think I was doing maybe 30 or 35..and believe me others drive a lot faster in that small little road. it just made me so mad, being that i'm pregnant too i guess.

How do we implement a new drivers test for people over a certain age to get the ones who forgot how to drive off the road. U turns cannot be done anywhere someone feels and you should accelerate during a turn not slow down,

Among the people who cross the roads are blind men and women. Will it be appropriate if governments all over world build special bridges for the blind along with the normal bridges so that it becomes easier for them to reach the other end with much ease?

I think a lot of people just yield at stop signs more than just stop. heres the definition of yield:

In road transport, a yield (Canada, Ireland, and the United States) or give way (United Kingdom and many Commonwealth countries) traffic sign indicates that a driver of a vehicle must slow down and prepare to stop if necessary (usually while merging into traffic on another road) but does not need to stop if there is no reason to.
