are seats belts enough to be safe, especially for racing/drifting? cuz i wanted to take the airbags out for a new steering wheel. plus some1 said if you get in a accident and you don't wear a helmet you will hit the roll cage and crak you head open. is that true, isn't that why there is a seat belt?

I'm taking my driver's test on Friday, and I'm nervous about parallel parking. It's not so much that act of parking, but what if I'm about to park on a narrow road, and a car is coming from behind? I know to look back, but what good will it do? I don't think you can skip over that part of the road test, nor pass the car as you would in a real-life scenario. Can anyone help me out here?

So just recently, I was making a left turn and looked both ways and turned and all the sudden I see this car stopped to my right honking. So then I said whatever and kept driving towards my house. I kept looking in my mirror and he is still there so I guess he was following me and he was. I made laps around my neighboorhood. Luckily I speed off and also a car got in between us. What should I do next time? I was about to call the police but I wasn't in a public area. What should I do?

If stopping at the traffic lights do I :
1) put the car into N > handbrake on and R foot on the floor
2) put the car into D> handbrake on and R foot on the brake
3) put the car into P> handbrake on and R foot on the floor.
My husband says:- keep car in D> R foot on the brake and handbrake on.
I feel this is dangerous, in case one's foot slips off the brake !?
Please help me settle a very heated discussion. Many thanks.

ALL CAR OWNERS AND CAR DRIVERS PLEASE READ

Be aware of new car-jacking scheme.
You walk across the car park, unlock your car and get inside. Then you lock all your doors, start the engine and shift or put into reverse. You look into the rear-view mirror to back out of your parking space and You notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window.
So, you shift the gear stick back into park or neutral, unlock your doors and jump out of your car to remove that paper or whatever it is that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car that is when the car-jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off!!

Your engine was running, you would have left your purse in the car and they practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.

BE AWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED IN GLASGOW AND MANCHESTER AND IS MAKING ITS WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!!!!!!!

Bad or what?

It has two seats, but five seat belts. Three in front and two behind the seats. But they're on the floor, and if people were to sit there it would be tight. Is it legal? I mean, they would be seatbelted.

Thanks.

when will the U.S. and its states increase the required skill level a person needs to get and keep a drivers licence? On a scale from 1 to 10, I feel the average driver falls between 3 and 5,with a few around 7 or 8. thats not good enough in my opinion. There are more people who die or are badly injured than guns and drugs. Its right up there with cancer and were trying to cure that.So when are we going help the people young and old with poor driving skills? What do YOU think should be done?
