Tomorrow I have to drive a synchromesh gearbox truck and I am not sure how different it is from a Crash box (Road ranger) I have never driven a synchromesh box but I have experience on a Road Ranger. Any help would be appreciate it. thanks

You can still double-clutch a synchromesh gear box, but it's not really necessary, as the synchros do most of the work for you. Be aware that most synchro gear boxes do not have synchro on first (low) gear

When you drive with a crash box you have to double clutch to 'synchronise' the gear speeds inside the box . On a synchromesh box the gears are made to do the job for you. So all you do is put the clutch down, move the gear lever from gear to gear and then engage the clutch again, easy as that.

The synchros keep the internals spinning at the proper speed for a smooth shift. Double clutching is not needed (you can anyway). And 1st or "Granny" isn't synchronized.

Going the other way is a lot harder.

i do no longer prefer to be on the line with you in case you're no longer qualified tochronic: ergo no license. the business company can get extensive fines for hiring unlicensed drivers and should no longer hire you till you're qualified. so some distance as what occurs to you? look it up your self.
