I don't think it's legal for anyone to ride in an El Camino. Just kidding. Where else can you put the baby in an El Camino? It only has one seat.

I can't see why it would be a problem if the seat is safe, properly installed and used correctly. I agree with the previous answerer that having the authorities check out the seat is a good idea.

There is no reason you can't do this. If this is your first child, or even your second, you might want to drop into your local police station, or sheriff's office and ask for one of them to check your car seat installation. Most all police departments have at least one officer who has had specialized training in car seat installations, and they all will be happy to check out your seat and installation at no cost to you....
