All states in the USA drive on the right side of the road unless it's a one way road in which case all lanes can be used to drive in the same direction, even the left lane.

In New Oleans they have been noted to drive that way at any time of the day, but Is not the law, Just Drunk. The uniform code is for all 50 states. Rt side of the road is proper. If you have taken driver's training, go back for that refresher course, please.
