While out this lunchtime, I saw a poster for a new car which read something like, "…the feisty new car from Renault…" This lead me to question what makes a car feisty? I can understand that soft curves may confer a 'sexy' label and bold/rounded lines on a car can make it look 'mean/ muscley', but which trait(s) makes any car 'feisty'? Does a person's personality say anything about the car they choose to drive? or vice-versa? By describing a car as feisty, are the makers influencing the way people should drive? Naturally, if I owned an Aston Martin, I'd like to feel like James Bond behind the wheel. If I owned a Nissan Micra or one of those electric 'eco-buggy' thingys, I'd probably feel like Noddy.
So, in short… Do you feel that your car says anything about your personality? If so, what?
