Anyone who makes fun of you for your *Dad's* car (a nice, new car, nontheless!) clearly can't think of anything better to tease you about, yet they are the insecure type of person who needs to tease others to feel good about themselves.

Next time they start making fun of you for the car, just ignore them or laugh at them and say "is that the best you can come up with?" and then walk away.

Hey, it is new, and it is safe, there must some kids at school whose parents have old K-Cars. You can always walk or take the bus if it is that big a problem. Any people who don't like your dad's choice of car, and hold it against you aren't worth having as friends, they are shallow excuses for human beings.

You only have to be embarraseed if you are teased. people generally don't care. When going to school how many other cars do you remember on the way there? Probably none right? Well everyone else has the same memory. Probably 3/4 of the kids at your school don't even know who you are and probably almost all of them will forget you unless you are still friends with them. Since they don't care enough about you, they will care even less about what vehicle you came in.

Your question makes me livid. You could walk to school, the mall, and to your friend's house, how would that be? How about if mommy and daddy yank that dam iPod, the cell phone, and the computer you're on as well? God knows you didn't pay for them with any money you earned. You are the reason I pray for the draft to be reinstated. All you brats need boot camp and at least one year of compulsory military service to drill that narcissism out of you. I swear to Christ on a moped. Your parents provide every single thing for you and you kick them in the gut by telling everyone that daddy's car, your free ride to everywhere, embarrasses you. I have four girls and a boy, all of them either have been or will be thirteen. This is how I know that your attitude sucks.

Hey- when I started DRIVING to school, my parents made me drive an old beat up MINI VAN!! TALK ABOUT EMBARASSING! but- I would always tell my friends that I loved it, because at least I could drive ALL my friends wherever I wanted, while them in their little mustang 2 seaters could drive a limited number of friends!
Just force yourself to be happy about it-
A) atleast you dont have to WALK to school!!!
B) atleast your family can afford a car, some families cant!
C) atleast your dad loves you enough to drive you to school!!

I know it seems HORRIBLE now, but really...in a few years...no one will even remember what car you were driven in to school!!

Best of luck!

That car is awesome. What's the matter with you?

Good fuel economy. Unbelievable interior room for a car that size. Looks kinda cool. Good handling. What is not to love about that car? If you were driving it maybe you'd like it more.

Why don't you worry about something that is important rather than getting upset at your dad for being nice enough to take you to school. If other's don't like the car, that's their problem. They need to get over it just like you do.

Sorry about the embarrassment, but I find it hilarious that Toyota designed these cars to appeal to young people. I have never seen anyone under the age of 30 driving one of these things.

My daughter knows how you feel....I took her to school in a 1951 faded forest green Buick Special....the thing purred like a kitty but it sure was ugly....she would make me stop a block away and get out and walk....I thought it was funny as hell but she failed to see any of the humor...thanks for reminding me..
