MDI is in production on cars that run on compressed air that have zero pollution. These cars can go about 60 - 70 mph, have a travel distance of about 150 miles, estimated costs of air to run them at about 1/10 the cost of gasoline. Fork lifts, boats, and other items are being made in Australia with this technology.

Here in Russia we have several kinds of gasoline, marked with so called 'octane level' number. The most common is 95th gasoline. It is used for mid-priced common cars. 98th used for expesive cars and 92nd and less used for cheap ones.

Is this corresponds somehow with gasoline marks in USA? Which marks are common there?

Thnks.

i don't have any example similar to this question in the book so i am not able to understand it.

while driving his sports car at 20.m/s down a four-lane highway, eddie comes up behind a slow-moving dump truck and decides to pass it in the left hand lane. if eddie can accelerate at 5.oom/s2 , how long will it take for him to reach a speed of 30.om/s?

(note s2 is for s with square root)
pls explain me how to do this since i have no similar examples to this in my book.

Hi all! I have read some of the previous questions regarding this topic but I still don't feel too sure so I thought I would ask for myself.
I am looking for a new vehicle, mainly because right now I drive a Olds Alero which is horrible (no matter what people say about fwd) in the snow. I am new to Michigan and last winter was the first winter I have ever driven in the snow. I am terrified of driving in the snow. So.....
My husband and I want to trade my car for something with 4WD. However, I have been seeing so many newer models with AWD. Which is better for the snowy conditions I am speaking of? Such as normal driving in snow, going up hills (and down) in snow, ect. Please keep in mind I am not an experienced driver in the snow either so I need something that I feel safe in and I don't want to spend TONS of money either. Any suggestions would be great!!

I appreciate everyone's help! Best answer gets the points!!

'93 Mustang 5.0 LX sleeper, mild mods to engine cam and intake, frame stiffened, performance rotors and pads, etc. I have a Line Loc kit but hesitate to have it installed because it may look like the car was abused. (It has not been, but I do drag race once or twice a year.) Any opinions one way or the other appreciated.

He had a tow truck waiting to take his car, the officer said no, and used the tow truck that he had called for, so my dad said ok, the cars not worth it, you keep it. So anyways now we get a letter that we owe over 2000 dollars for the car, and they have a Lien Deficiency , meaning i guess the sold the car and the amount it sold for wasnt enough to cover the costs. The towing company is asking for IMMEDIATE PAYMENT , payment in full for some 2000 dolalrs, and im thinking this is BS, i was going to disreguard this letter because it seems like a threat just to get some money, any advice?
