Here in Las Vegas the average mark up on gas is 10% then they have to add all the City, State, Federal and sales tax to that price for their total price. Taxes are a big part of the cost of a gallon of gas in Nevada.

It varies from specific station to specific station.

We've had a case here, a 76 across the street from an Arco, and the 76 owner laments that his WHOLESALE price is HIGHER than what Arco sells gas at RETAIL. (i.e. he would have made more money by buying gasoline from Arco and reselling it).

So it can vary by 20-40 cents

OMG i won't be able to have confidence you're that naive. no remember if pre pay or non pre pay, the cashier has a readout exhibit for each pump appropriate in front of them only like the single on the pump that permits you to comprehend how lots you're growing to be. the comparable ingredient shows on their exhibit alongside with the appropriate pump quantity and so on. and there is an audio sign and a flashing easy via your pump quantity exhibit that alerts them as you carry % up the nozzle so as that they could verify you come back interior and pay fairly than leap on your motor vehicle andpersistent off and no remember in case you comprehend it or not everybody is on digicam as properly as license plates. in case you do not have confidence me attempt pulling as much as a gasoline pump with your motor vehicle plate lined up and see how speedy they'll close off the pump and make contact with the cops. Did you fairly think of it became an honor equipment?....... Sheeeeesh
