I live in a small town and we do not have a bus system. Most all of my doctor appointments are at least 30 miles away. I live on 600.a month Can anyone help me?

In manual cars is the 0-60 accurate everytime? I never drove one before, but i was thinking about buying one. Will the time always be the same? LIke switching gears and stuff, don't you have to do it right and no one is perfect, so you know what I mean.

Just an "FYI" -- it's got a sunroof I can hop out of, so I don't need extra room to enter and exit the vehicle.

My husband swears that the defroster cools the automobile just as efficiently as the air conditioner. I tried to tell him that although it might cool things down it is about 10 times less efficient. I tried to tell him that while he was living in San Diego it might have cooled things down because the temperature there hardly ever gets over 80 degrees but we live in Missouri where it quite a bit more hot and humid. I also tried to tell him that if he did not want an air conditioner why did he even buy a vehicle with an air conditioner...and how does the defroster work if there is no air conditioner?

He insists on "cooling" the vehicle with the defroster, which to me is just rediculous. Does anyone have any advice on how I can show him how rediculous it is to cool the vehicle down using a defroster in the heat of summer in Missouri?

I like my car and believe that I should maintain what I have, but I want and need a back up vehicle because here public transportation won't help. I'm considering one of these, particularly a Sportage or an Optima. I just want you guys personal (owners) opinion on them.

I'm more concerned with a car getting me from point A to B not the trade in value.

Well, my mom is gonna get a new used car. And she is stuck between two.

Car #1- 2007 Ford Focus:

The ford focus is a green color that my mom really likes, it is very new-it only has 3,000 miles on it. The seats in the back are very comfortable with a lot of leg room. It has a Cd player. Lots of trunk room.
Cost: 14,599

Car #2- 2003 Chevy Malibu:
Ok this car is white. It only has 1,000 miles on it, but it IS an older car. It has a lot of leg room in the back, but the seats are kinda leaned back so it makes you feel like your slouching, There is no way of ajusting the back seats. It also has a CD player. I dont know how big the trunk is.
Cost: 12, 599

if you have one of these cars, is it reliable? If not, whcich one do you think sounds better? Do you know if Chevy or ford is more reliable? My mom wants the car to last a while.

I am in need of a replacement vin tag for my 1953 Ford F100. I do not want a replica tag, I want to know if there is a way to get a duplicate tag from Ford. i was on the site but found no answers.
