Easy.... good spray bottle with a sharp stream. Fill it with water and lemon juice (50/50) and spay it in the eyes from about 3-5 feet. Snake will at first coil or try to hide, but do this a few times with brief, powerful squirts and will will slither out of the open door and away. Once it's outside, take the garden hose and force it away from your yard (unless you want to kill it). Water that remains in the car will not damage it and will dry away.
The kerosene advice above me--- yikes!
No one is hurt, snake lives another day, and it's quick and easy!

Go to yer local druggist and ask them for nitrous for wart removal. Works super fast.

if they do not have animal control in your area, buy a box of moth ball's and throw about 15 to 20 of them in the car, they can not stay in there with the smell of the moth balls, be ready when it comes out to kill it with a shovel or something. and get the moth balls back out of your car as soon as you can.
