It will depend on the area you are in! I know that in my area the common charge is $75 to hook up and $3 per mile for a daytime run! Late night calls are more!
Call around to find the rates in your area! If you are having the car towed to a shop, they may have a special rate with a tow company. Call and ask before you have your vehicle towed!

Usually about $35.00 first mile, and then about 4.00 per mile after that. Some charge a minimum charge for a trip, town to town. The price is regulated by law. The charges are on the side of the tow truck, like on a taxi. Try to negotiate a better price. Most will charge you a fair price for a quick, no hassle tow. If you have AAA Road Service, they are the least expensive. Call several tTow Truck Operators and try to get a good price. Good Luck.

Maybe nothing if you have AAA's or you have coverage on your insurance policy. It could run about $100 dollars. Get a receipt and call your insurance company.
