I have a 99 jetta and it has about 110 horsepower. I'm looking for some easier and possibly cheap ways to increase my horsepower a little bit. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

Their website doesn't give me size or pricing info just dealers. Could yu tell me if they have the Winner G/t Model in 205/65/15 and how much does each run for? If not can yu tell me where i could find a similar tire (besides tirerack.com)

i. Hondas rent for $25 per day and $.24 cent per mile
ii Toyotas rent for $31 per day and $.19 cent per mile.
-Write a cost equation for each rental car.
-The distance from Monterey, Ca to San Francisco, Ca is about 110 miles.
Which car would be the better choice to rent for a one-way drive to San Francisco from Monterey?
-Which car would be the better choice to rent round-trip drive from Monterey to San Francisco and back?
-What is the break-even point for both rental cars, include the mileage and cost.

I'm not talking about car dollies that people tow their vehicles on. I work in a roadside assistance call center and I wondered what tow dolly wheels look like; the ones that are used when the veh won't go into neutral and the appropriate end isn't accessible, etc. Any tow truck drivers care to shed light on this with actual photos? It's hard to find online because all I see is car dollies. Thanks

I currently live in Illinois and carry an Illinois CDL with HAZMAT. My current license expires in February. My main question is, if I go through the background check for HAZMAT in Illinois (which is almost $100), will I, when I move to Indiana, have to get ANOTHER background check for ANOTHER $100 in order to keep it?

I am interested in purchasing a new, used car. My budget is $5,000 to $12,000. Which automobile naming the make, model, and year(s) would give me the most horsepower for the dollar? When I refer to horsepower, I really mean that 0-60 oomph.

This is a new Toyota Aygo and the windscreen gets fogged up even when it's not raining, I've tried re-circulate and various other settings in the car and it doesn't seem to help. The only thing that works is blasting the air conditioning through the defrost outlets onto the window.

it seems like there really isn't a physical difference between the two, but double shifting wouldn't exist if that's true. and it just seems like double shifting would take slightly longer, which doesn't make sense in a racing-type situation. so what's the big advantage in rev-matching while having the clutch engaged and the transmission in neutral?

It tends to be wanny be's who can't afford a cherished number.
Waht are the Laws around this, and do the polic ever bother aboit this ?

If someone driving in a "lifted" truck crashes into you and runs over the top of your car hurting you seriously, what are your rights? The truck may not have done this if the bumpers were at a normal level. Does the other driver have more responsibility now that he/she has modified the truck beyond that of how the truck was delivered from the manufacturer?

When I say "lifted", I mean 4 - 5 inches or greater and either a body lift or a chassis lift. These trucks would kill me immediately in my convertible, but I've always wondered how a case like this would look in court.

my used town car has a gps tracking system on it that the person i bought it from installed. for some odd reason he wont tell me where it is. so i took it to a body shop and they told me where the antenna is but the cant find where the gps trackers brain is. they told me it would be best to just cut the antenna. the thing is i want to be able to use the antenna when i park my car somewhere im not familiar with. so i just want to be able to turn it off and on. so they told me to find a material that can interrupt the signal. can anyone help????

i have a waterfed pole window cleaning system that uses purified water to clean windows leaving them sparkling.Sometimes i wash my van with good results .i was wondering if i could go to a lay by and offer truck washing to lorry drivers. how much do they usually pay for truck cleaning, are truckers really bothered about having clean trucks. Will I only be washing owner drivers? If i gave reciepts would that help? What about if i provided a tea/coffee free with every truck wash? a Date with sally traffic (only joking)i live in the south east. anyone know of any good lay bys (popular with truckers) near Orpington/Croydon or anywhere near M25 A21 A20 Thank you for looking at my question i would appreciate any responses.
