i own a repair shop, and i prefer the 454 for this purpose ,,because they hold up well and produce more power than the 427 does,,the 427 was a performance engine,,but not very reliable at all i had one of them once, and replaced it with a 454 and have had several since then,,i get better service out of a 454 and they do alright on fuel,,considering what they are,but id consider the 454 because there common engines, and parts aren't going to break you up either,,it will pull that much weight and more,,with no problems at all..good luck,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

What years are the engines? Would you be rebuilding them, and if so, with what specs? The 427 and 454 are both excellent engines for pulling, since both have huge amounts of torgue. I've seen a 427 that hasn't had an oil change in over 10 years, and it continues to work to this day. I think if you just need a reliable work engine, both would serve you well. Make sure the transmission is kept up to spec, service the engine regularly, and you should be fine with either. Parts may be more common for the 454.

C.I.D matters when it comes to torque. Torque is what it takes to launch or pull off the line. With the right cam, heads, piston compression and carburation the 454 . Motors manual 36th ed .shows that stock 427's and 454 produced up to 1970 shows the 454 can have as much as 500lb torque (also the Cadillac 500 ci has the same amount of torque. You can determine this by what letters and # are stamped on the block'pad down the r/s in front of the head. If interested contact me with the letters and # on each block at eldoradodave@yahoo.com

regrettably, maximum persons do not do not forget that, functionally, there's no vast difference. the easy time period, emotion, typically is considered as some thing different from the technical time period, influence. Even experts, which include Ekman and Tompkins have made unnecessary differences, complicating the picture. Emotion, or influence, is someone's' lively (non-verbal) reaction ( or "interpreting") of the interaction with their environment. Emotion provides us techniques about, and the ability to finish actual projects, acceptable to the situations (which include survival). by way of the undeniable fact that is non-verbal, that is considered to be lower than the breaking point of unsleeping information, for that reason the note "subconscious" used for this journey/feeling. Tompkins did have one element maximum excellent: influence is wide-spread. because it develops previously unsleeping, verbal-depending cognition, it has a much better impact over habit than wondering. maximum politicians and promotion pros can attest to this. although, this lively enter isn't a command, that is in elementary terms an impact. because body impacts ideas and ideas impacts body, we may be able to re-light memories that ought to remember emotional responses. The foundation is from environmental interactions, not from wondering. yet we may be able to call up certain emotions without interaction interior the prompt. We only draw on journey. even with the actual shown truth that oversimplified, W.B. Cannon replaced into accurate.
