It seems that anytime I pull up behind a nice restored classic car, I have to press my interior ciculation button. Haha. I know emissions requirements were more lenient back then, but I must wonder, what on earth did an entire gridlocked LA freeway smell like 40 years ago???

What are the corrective "actions" for a computer code problem of electronic speed timing signal problem?
I checked the timing as per the instructions on the sticker tag located on the top of the radiator and with the tan wire (black strip) disconnected the timing was a couple of degrees off........but with the tan/black stripped wire re-connected the timing was way off.
If there is a top notch mechanic out there that can guide me through the process to correct the possible problems.....I follow instructions real good.......Thanks.

It was on for about 2 weeks, and today I was going to get it looked at but for some reason it's not on. Should I be worried? The check engine light still works cause its on before I start my car, so I know its not because the bulb blew out.

I have a 1990 acura integra gs. I bought a 5" Tachometer because my factory one didn't work. I was told to wire the tach signal wire to the blue wire on the connector on the driverside firewall next to the strut. But there is 3 blue wires one is like a carolina blue and the other is a regular blue. Which one is the right one?

I drive a 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix SE(2 door) and It's been acting really weird lately. About 2 and a half weeks ago, I was driving and in the middle of my turn onto a road, my car completely turned off. The steering wheel locked, the brakes died, and I had no control. Then last night, I had the same thing happen again, but this time Thank the Lord, the breaks still worked, and the headlights worked and I was able to coast to the side of the road. Any idea of what could be the problem? I completely cleaned my battery terminals, and a mechanic friend of mine checked the battery with a machine he has and said it was holding a great charge. I was told to try replacing the alternator, and just had that replace today. If the car continues to do this thing where it turns off in the middle of driving and the wheel locks off, what else could it be? Maybe it's something electrical and I need a diagonistics checK?Thanks so much.

My Jeep Wrangler's vinyl top needs some rejuvenation. I don't think it's too far gone as far as fading or sun damage goes. Is there some way to wash it or some formula available to bring back the black? I of course have considered Armor All but won't that make it greasy?

battery died in the car, after i changed it, had to play with it before it would start. it's like the chip in the key, or anti theft is keeping it from working. turn the key and nothing happens , lights work fine in dash.

My 2005 Kia sorento 5spd trans is great but the 18city 21highway could be helped. I know there are many products out there on the market that dont work or are just rediculious. I already have a K&N filter in my air box looking to widen the exhaust cat back to help with flow. Any other ideas or maybe that you have applied to your own sorento? Any advice would be great!!!
