remove the master cylinder from it,,and move it to the side,you might be able to do this with out completely removing the master,,go inside the car and in the drivers side floor ,,remove the 4 bolts that hold the booster on,,then go back out and care fully remove it,,also be sure and unhook the large vacuum line from it,,installation is opposite of this,,take caution when putting it back on,,try not to kink any of the brake lines on it,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

You mean the power booster and master cylinder Assembly ?Right, special note some Pontiac's don't use bolts on the booster it self, its a twist lock,( to the fire wall) but if in any doubt its something you really don't want to mess with with no experience, so my advice have it properly diagnosed at the dealer and you will no be ruining into any havoc, OK take care
