I have a 1990 acura integra gs. I bought a 5" Tachometer because my factory one didn't work. I was told to wire the tach signal wire to the blue wire on the connector on the driverside firewall next to the strut. But there is 3 blue wires one is like a carolina blue and the other is a regular blue. Which one is the right one?

The blue wire goes into a connector. the wire ends up to black on the other side of the connector is this the ground(negative) that would send the tach signal?

Normally, it'll be the one that also connects to the negative terminal of the ignition coil. If you can't figure out which one that is, you should probably be able to stick a ring terminal on the end of the tach signal wire and put it directly on the negative terminal of the coil.

depends what make of tach it is, you can even make it easier by finding the wiring diagram for your instrument cluster and locate the tach signal wire that goes to your factory tach which doesn't work , cut it, don't tap into it, and connect it up that way..make sure you insulate the connection

Just follow the wires. Which one goes to the coil? I'll bet it's the solid blue one.
