Hi, I'm renting a car in October and heard that it's a good possibility I'll get a 2007. Anyone else think that's a possibility ? Also I read that Avis rents GM but I saw some talk of Dodge/Chrysler vehicles being rented. I'm renting an intermediate car and hope to get something I like, not a dumb mini van or anything lol. Thanks for any suggestions, comments anyone can offer. This is my first time renting with Avis, usually go with Enterprise but I really, really need a change. Thanks again.

My job is in NJ, but I live in Philly. I must cross the river somehow, and going over the Walt Whitman or Benjamin Franklin bridges both charge $3 westbound each day. Is there a way to avoid the tolls?

I was considerably tired driving home from work this morning and the splattering noise was pretty loud under my relatively heavy Subaru SVX.

I was just curious if anyone knows how accurate times are when using online map services like Mapquest ? For example from NC to NY is about 700 miles and Mapquest says it will take about 12 hours. Do you think that is based on driving right at the speed limit ? Anyone know if there is a site where you can enter your MPH to calculate travel time ? Thanks everyone.

Drag causes more gas consumption and so does the compressor of the car. So which one is better?

The defendant's bac was .07. The law in the defendant's state states "Must be .08 or above OR be noticeably and perceivably intoxicated." The defendant was pulled over for speeding, but was not driving eratically. A video shows the defendant speaking clearly and appearing sober. The video cuts out right before the field sobriety tests occur. The officer states that the defendant failed field sobriety tests, and that he had very bloodshot, watery eyes, slow slurred speech, and a strong odor of alcohol and that his blood alcohol percentage reading of .07 may have actually been higher when he was driving. The defendant states he has a documented history of hayfever and thus bloodshot, watery eyes and speaking with a lisp, much of the alcohol odor could have been from his passenger, and that he did not feel intoxicated. Thanks.
